ABOUT INOAH

Jamaican reggae singer I-Noah’s’ musical career has been a real journey, riding the waves of change, and maintaining a steady ship throughout; he is now set to sail the tides of good fortune with his ark finely tuned. I-Noah, real name Clayton Heslop was born to parents, Margaret Hallcock and Caswell Heslop on the fourth of November in 1981, and grew up youngest of five siblings in the quiet rural district of Orange Hill, Oldworks. Later moving to live in the Watermount area of the parish of St. Catherine. He attended The Point Hill All Age School from 1987 to 1997 where he developed the foundation of his education. At a very tender age Clayton's passion for music emerged rapidly which enthused him to participate in musical events at church and community shows. People in the surrounding areas were always enthralled with his high pitch smooth sounding vocals, and so enthusiastic supporters regularly turned out in appreciation any time he performed. This was evident when at the tender age of eleven years old Clayton was appointed, lead chorister at The Little Bethlehem Pentecostal Church Youth Choir of which he was a member. During his teenage years Clayton concentrated on creating music based on his portrayal of positive vibes and cultural enlightenment which he took to stage shows right across the parish. Known now to many by the name I-Noah, he has categorized his style of music in the same genre as those great musicians who have inspired him over the years. They include the legendary Bob Marley, Crown Prince of Reggae Dennis Brown and Sizzla Kalonji. Introduced by his close friend Gregory, to the House of Love recording label, I-Noah recorded his first single “Rise From The Slum”, still only twenty-four years of age and gaining him a reasonable amount of air play on local the radio stations. Going on later to record songs like "Gwaan So Fah", "One of A Kind", and "Battle Field", helped produce an enthusiastic and faithful fan base, who in turn motivated him to dedicate more time and effort into producing songs that eventually saw him appearing on the billing at popular shows such as Rebel Salute, as well as others in Portmore, and August Towns, Judgement Yard.
In 2014-2015 I-Noah connect to Edwin Limburg and Ray Jansson’s Riddim International Soundsystem and Reggae Promotions in Holland and Fitzroy Francis of Mightyful13 Records in the USA, who will be his Managers and newly found producers. His upcoming single “Selassie I Rule” on the “Rhytm13 Acceleration” will be his first release on the label which will be distributed worldwide via VP Records’s Vpal Music. Look out this musical warrior as he brings the message of love and righteousness to the Nation.
